Lab Work

Over the last few days Brad, Amy and I have been making and testing our own lava lamps. We had a question if the water was hotter would it effect the result. Our hypothesis was that the fizzing agent in the barroca which made the lamp fizz would dissolved faster in hot water and our guess was backed up by some science sites. We had three tests cold water, warm water and hot water. The end result was exactly what we predicted the hot water dissolved the barroca faster, making a more violent lava lamp. If you would like a try click this link >>> http://www.sciencebob.com/experiments/lavalamp.php
